Best Western Plus Hotel Dresden City

A spacious and clean room with an excellent view created a great atmosphere. The complimentary snacks and beverages were a good touch. Retrieving the parking chip from the reception was a hassle, and the air conditioning could use some power. The reception area felt a bit lackluster despite the overall comfort and hospitality.

Besides, the location was nice for our stay, within 25 minutes' walk of a party palace. Greatly enjoyed how the standard room with a double bed was arranged when we arrived.

Got the same comfort double room with own bar booked online, greatly enjoyed that. There were facilities such as coffee and luggage storage. The perfectly comfortable and incredible location was close to Erich Kaestner Museum. The hotel was in a quiet area, near nice restaurants and coffe shops, both Neustadt and bars and restaurants.

The hotel offered great insider tips for local attractions, and being part of a spontaneous street festival made our stay unforgettable.

The staff was wonderful, friendly, accomodating.... All services were spot on ~~ great location, parking was fabulous, room was amazing. Also liked that I could arrive at any time and that the staff spoke English. This hotel was wonderful. Nice spacious room and most importantly clean. Thank you.

The only thing I did not like, is that the hotel billed my credit card instead of having the option to pay in cash. That was the only thing.....

The hotel is well situated, just a short tram ride to the city center. My room was spacious, clean, and had a fantastic shower. The reception team was super helpful when i left my bag on the tram. They really were really nice for me!

In general a very good experience except for one mega point the charge for Wlan online service was unproportional and a mega rip off. The fee of eur 35,00 for 3 day access! A monthle telefon fee and Internet service is about 20,00 eur and even the hotel staff shrug when they saw the price. In general I like the hotel chain - service and facilities are good value for money except for this point. Aware now of this issue will I pay special attention to service fee charged for online access and will be more likly to choose a Hotel with free Wlan

Spacious rooms, with comfortable chairs. Good breakfast selection.

Bit too far out for us (elderly couple) to walk to city centre (in Altstadt). No English language TV channel (apart from the usual dreadful BBC World).

The location is ideal, only a 20-minute walk to the historic center. The bed was comfy. Wi-Fi connectivity is reliable, a must for my travel needs. I particularly loved the clean and spacious bathroom with a proper tub, not just a cramped shower.

Price and relative closeness to city centre

Hotel stuff refused to register me with lower price that was available at the time when I arrived on Booked.net In all park inn hotels certain of money is blocked on credit card on the day of arrival. I am not sure why this is done, it is annoying because the block lifts only after 30 days.

Good walking access to Dresden city centre. Free parking outside at the weekend.

Breakfast - although there was plenty of it - was slightly overpriced at 13 euros. Additionally there was no alternative means by which we could get breakfast in the immediate area. The charge for WiFi was also another source of irritation at 5 euros for 1/2hr, and consequently unable to seek an alternative nearby hotel for breakfast instead. Bathroom was a bit dated with a low, old-fashioned style bath and cheap shower curtain.

Perfect for a solo traveler looking to unwind

The staff really made a difference here. They helped me out big time when I lost my bag on the tram. She didn't hesitate to assist, tracking down the transport authority and working through the language barrier for me. Plus, the room was quite comfy. I sank into the bed and reminded me of a king after a long day.

It wasn't exactly cheap but still good enough for what you get.

We stayed at this hotel for five nights. Overall this hotel is pretty good. The location is great as you can walk to the either the old or the new town centre in 15 minutes. The room are nice and big (although I believe that the furniture is a little outdated). You can also rent a bicycle through the front desk. Parking is easy enough to find. I would stay again

There are really two main complaints about this hotel: most of the staff were nice and helpful l, but two people at the reception were quite rude and not only to us. The other thing is the price of the wireless internet access. Although it was stated that internet access was not free 19 cents a minute (11,40 € an hour) is way too expensive.
